Strategic approach

However, there are some conditions required for effectively cashing in on the ROI! Working on well-being and happiness at work may never become an ad hoc approach. In addition, you cannot focus on the cherry on the cake and not think about the best possible foundations. Without paying attention to the basic components of job satisfaction, every one off initiative regarding happiness at work will miss the mark.

That’s why we at Tryangle are advocating a strategic approach. Just like the mission, vision and values of an organisation, the topic of happiness at work should be fully integrated in the DNA of the company. This means thinking about what work happiness means for your organisation, and making appropriate choices.

Companies that strategically work on different dimensions will attract and retain motivated employees. And having happy employees will never be counterproductive, on the contrary. These are the organisations that make the difference, today and in the future! Or as we at Tryangle have been saying and writing for some time: the future belongs to the happy!

The Tryangle approach: The concept of Happiness at Work

Organisations can increase their employees’ happiness at work and its positive impact by focusing on different building blocks. At Tryangle, we developed a pyramid model with underlying components of happiness at work, each contributing in its own way to a positive and happy company culture, from a top-down perspective, coming from the organisation and managers, as well as a bottom-up approach from the employees themselves.
It is crucial to know which building blocks to focus on. Only in this way can you ensure that employees, managers and directors can be the best versions of themselves and can function optimally.

The ultimate goal? By paying attention to the different components of happiness at work in a sustainable, well thought-out, consistent and appropriate manner, you create a strong and authentic employer brand and a positive employee experience that allow you, as a company, to really make a difference.
